How It Works

  1. 01

    Install the theme

    The InTouchDesign base theme is free. One theme carries every starter site, so there is nothing extra to keep updated.

  2. 02

    Install the Companion plugin

    The free plugin adds a Starter Sites screen to your admin menu and ships the Corporate starter site with it.

  3. 03

    Go Pro for the rest

    The Pro build of the same plugin unlocks the Pro starter sites and the ones that ship later. It replaces the free build, and your settings carry over.

  4. 04

    Import, then edit

    Pick a starter site and import it. It creates ordinary WordPress pages you edit in the block editor: new pages you can delete, or replacements that keep their previous version in WordPress revisions. Applying the starter site's look changes theme settings only, and a restore point covers those settings so you can put them back.

Thank you. Three steps to your first Pro starter site

Freemius sends the Companion Pro zip and your license key to your email address.

  1. 1. Install the InTouchDesign theme. Download the theme (version 1.3.0, zip, 1.2 MB), then upload it under Appearance › Themes › Add Theme › Upload Theme and activate it. If WordPress says the theme is already installed, choose Replace current with uploaded.
  2. 2. Install Companion Pro. Upload the zip from the Freemius email under Plugins › Add Plugin › Upload Plugin and activate it. If the free Companion is installed, choose Replace current with uploaded: your settings stay.
  3. 3. Activate your license. Enter the key from the same email when the plugin asks, then open InTouchDesign › Starter Sites and import a Pro starter site.

FAQ

Do I pay for the theme?

No. The theme is free and so is the Companion plugin. What you pay for is the Pro build of the plugin, which unlocks the Pro starter sites.

What happens when my license expires?

Everything you already imported keeps working, and your site is untouched. You stop receiving updates, support, and new Pro starter sites until you renew.

Can I use one license on several sites?

A license covers the number of sites in its tier: one, five or twenty, or as many as you like with Unlimited. The count is enforced on activation.
